We are pleased to announce that Heerema Marine Contractors has formally confirmed the award of renewal of heatshield cladding on the crane houses of its SSCV Thialf to Van Dam Maintenance & Repair. Under the award, Van Dam Maintenance & Repair will supply and install sun-protecting heatshielding in the distinctive Heerema Marine Contractors orange color on both crane houses.

Heatshield cladding is used for a number of applications to reduce heat radiation. Van Dam Maintenance & Repair will use the proven effective heatshield cladding which is able to reduce heat radiation up to 94%.
