As Van Dam further differentiates into new markets to become an even more complete one-stop supplier on architectural fire and blast rated products, we have engaged into a new contract.

We are proud to announce that Van Dam has entered into a formal agreement with KwangLim Marine Tech Co., South Korea.

KwangLim has a wide range of weather and watertight non- and fire rated doors and hatches for the naval marine and commercial shipbuilding industries. Van Dam and KwangLim have decided to cooperate on the design and development of these doors and hatches and to use the long experience of Van Dam and their R&D knowledge on fire and blast aspects, in order to further develop products for these industries. Furthermore, Van Dam will be the worldwide exclusive distributor/sales force for these marine/navy range of doors and hatches (South-Korea excluded).

KwangLim has already proven to be an excellent partner for the production of various Van Dam designs and systems over the past years, and this step feels as a natural move to a better and prosperous future for both companies and moreover, for the benefit of its customers.

This next step allows us to expand our product portfolio with the supply of a full range of marine navy and commercial ship doors, as an addition to our existing Nadam designs.

The programme will include single and double hinged doors, hatches, pilot doors and hydraulical sliding doors, in a variety of weather and watertightnesses and fire ratings.

KwangLim and her products are fully certified and of superb quality. KwangLim adds a welcome flavour to Van Dam brand, as such the products will be available under the Van Dam-KwangLim brand name.
