Van Dam B.V. , the global leading engineer and manufacturer of fire and blast protective products for the on and offshore Oil & Gas Industry, has opened a branch office in Singapore. 

Van Dam Asia Pte. Ltd. has been set up as part of the long term sales strategy to increase local presence nearby the customers and improve customer services. By setting up the office in Singapore, Van Dam is able to respond immediately to client enquiries and needs. Van Dam Asia Pte. Ltd is the first office abroad, outside of the Netherlands. From the Singaporean branch office Van Dam will service its clients in South-East Asia, China and Korea. 

The key reason for Van Dam to open a branch office in Singapore is to be closer to the construction locations of many of the end-user. South-East Asia, China and Korea have been growing markets over the last 5 years and Van Dam expects this growth to continue in the future. 

The branch office has been opened in February 2015 and is managed by Mr. Ted Klaver.
