Van Dam awarded multiple supply contracts for Al Zour Project in Kuwait
Van Dam is proud to announce it has been awarded multiple contracts for the KIPIC New Refinery Project (NRP) in Kuwait named Al Zour.
The New Refinery Project is mainly designed to supply Oil to the local power plants and is one of the largest refineries in the world. It also supplies fuels for the global export market as well as to the petrochemical industries.
Van Dam has been awarded multiple projects for both the On- and Offshore facilities.
For Offshore Package 5 NRP Van Dam is providing the full architectural package, which consist of:
- A60 & H120 Fire & Blast Rated Doors, both hinged and sliding
- H120 Fire rated windows
- A60 & H120 Fire Rated Wall & Roof Systems (Generation III and the new Generation IV system)
- A60 & H120 Fire Rated Penetration System
For the onshore package;
Van Dam is supplying the newly developed onshore fire rated door, which is tested and certified 180 minutes according to the UL10C regulations. This door, which is supplied complete with fire tested vision panel and is able to withstand 0.3 bar blast pressure. These doors are supplied for the control building at the NRP Al Zour Refinery Project.
