Developments follow each other quickly. In consultation with the experts, the Government is taking measures with the aim of slowing down the spread of the virus. These measures are drastic. It impacts everyone in society. We realize that it also raises many questions.
As we navigate through this rapidly evolving situation, we want to share the necessary measures we have taken at Van Dam B.V. and Van Dam Maintenance & Repair B.V. to minimize health and safety risks, while ensuring business continuity. These practices are consistently being reviewed by our crisis management team, in line with the Governments measures, guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and National Institute for Health and Environment (RIVM). The following steps have been initiated:
We have activated our Crisis Management team, that is constantly in contact to closely monitor all developments surrounding COVID-19.
Our existing Business Continuity Management Framework enables the ability to overcome the loss of key assets, equipment or personnel.
Health and Safety our Top Priority!
We have implemented additional hygiene requirements.
We have implemented travel restriction policies for all travel.
To encourage social distancing, we have rolled out smart work arrangements that allow the majority of our staff to work from home.
